Lesson 1: Drawing

 Description: In this lesson we were taught how to draw different patterns and how to use points of view. We used a ruler and made a dot at the center of the page then drew lines to the dot from the squares around it to create this picture. Then, we drew patterns in the squares and colored the extended part with oil pastel.

Alternate Activity: This activity could be used with geometric shapes. The students have to draw at least 3 different shapes that they learned in math, then they will draw their "shadow" like the extended parts of the squares above.
